F430 vacuum solenoid fuse

Is there such a thing?

My left hand exhaust tailpipe valve is permanently open and there is no suck when I put my finger over the end of the rubber vacuum line that activates the valve. I'm hoping it's just a blown vacuum solenoid fuse but I'm not even sure there is such a thing or where it might be located.

Any clues?

On the 360 the LH solenoid is powered by fuse 58 - the Lambda fuse. I would guess the 430 wiring is similar but would also guess that if that fuse had gone you'd have other issues.

The solenoid connector is very simple - two wires. One is a positive 12V that comes on with the ignition and the other is an earth that is switched by the ECU. Very simple to test.

Thanks Aldous. I had a hunch you might know! I'm checking the fuse location now.

I normally run with vacuum lines disconnected anyway but would like the option restored.
