Pricing on them seems to be going skywards all the time. Nearly all the examples I see sub £60k are F1, LHD or late cars or a combination thereof.

Personally I'd have the GTS over the spider but they are the rarest of the three I believe

Hi, I just sold my 355 as the prices in the last year went crazy. I bought mine from a dealer on May 31 last year for £58K and sold it in January this year for £80.5K. It was a great car but I really wanted a 430 and the uplift in pricing on my 355 made getting into a 430 far easier. The 355 is a great car, but the 430 is just so much better to drive as you would expect being 2 generations newer. It will be interesting to see if the prices continue to rise - I can't see it going that much further as they are now getting very expensive for what is not a rare Ferrari. I guess time will tell but I don't expect any genuine bargains on 355 pricing any time soon.

Agree with the above and I also did the same. Sold mine for a F430 which is a far better car in every way as you would expect technology wise. I loved the 355 and will always be a big fan however.
How far will the prices go is a tough question, it's crystal ball stuff. For me personally I find the 430 much more useable car and the performance is blistering. Whilst the 355 market is strong currently today there is always the possibility the market could go in the opposite direction. There not piggy banks!

I have a F355 spider. I have not been surprised at the recent rises. Approaching 20 years old most Fcars do it. I would also say that cars in great condition are rare. I think there was something like 315 Right hand drive manual spiders imported into the UK, possibly only half are still here, the rest being written off or exported. I'd class that as rare also.

My car is immaculate with 30k on the clock, its getting on to being a 20 year old Ferrari. You simply cannot compare them to modern Fcars, they are analogue and a completely different beast.

My view is drive the things, if they go up great, if not, so what.

Although if asked I would rather have my money in a 355 than a modern Fcar.

Ohh and that sound smile

My F355GTS Manual was my first Ferrari and I've always said I would get buried in it. Try not to even look at the prices of them these days as there is no money that could make me sell it anyway. Simply the last beautiful Ferrari IMHO
Looks like its going to be an expensive funeral

If you mean the silver/blue car, it was at £80k, and we agreed the deal yesterday - so that's now off the market.

If you'd consider a GTS, the red/black car with us is still available. For the last 10-11 years it has been serviced and maintained by us exclusively. I have the complete record of the past decade of its life in my office, which I am happy to talk anyone through.

If i were you I wouldnt wait six months, buy now before the summer prices/demand increases. Average price for them has increased about 50% in the last two years. They do seem to be actually selling in the high sixties and seventies now. for a RHD manual sub 40k miles car, that is.

regards
Scott.

andymc that blue one sounds like the sport of thing that i am after, is it a trade only auction?

Birkin, i did see that thread but like you say red is not what i am after, would be interested to see what they get to? am i right in thinking that red is more pricey that silver and blue?
