ferdi, whats a nice spec costing on a 488?. I was told around 30k should do it. Is this correct?..
Tia.
Racing seats, led wheel, shields & some other 'cheap' bits will be around 20k I reckon...Tia.
Throw lots of carbon at it & you can get to 40/45k quite easily!!
Name and deposit down around 2 months ago was quoted mid to late next year which suits me fine. Only dilemma will be do i let go of my 991 gt3 or not when it arrives. Spec wise will keep it simple, red on black with red stitching, shields, led steering, upgraded rims and couple of other small bits.

GT3 is NA, will it be the last, maybe not. If you can afford to though, then keep it, jmo....Just boils down to money really.br d said:
Obviously I'm going to need to see one of these in the flesh and will be test driving one but from that angle I don't think that is an attractive car.
Dare I say its a facelifted 458 TBH there are bits I prefer over the 458, like the turbo side air intakes, and less fussy rear end treatment but I think the front bumper is absolutely atrocious. Some of the renderings look better than the real thing as they are shown slammed to the ground with wheel arches filled whereas in reality the production cars have a tendency to sit on stilts with the suspension being far too high and massive gaps between wheel and arches.

I was not keen on it, Br, too GT'ish compared to the 458. Its gagging for optional extras to make it look like it should have..Very nice looking white one for sale on Amari's website ( Lhd ) ...how does he manage to get these so soon?, obviously very well connected!!
Also he has done a very nice video on a review of a yellow one, again it looks very well in the video

So what are you fancying???
BTW -
HELE is now standard as is Sat-Nav and Bluetooth.

Am I right in thinking HELE is 'High Emotion Low Emission' EG start stop? Is there any way to exclude it from spec, as to some I am sure its not something they will want on a car of this type. BTW -

The UK spec & option list dated April 2015 shows HELE as an £800+vat option. Hope this helpsHaving seen a yellow LHD 488 in the flesh the cabin and overall styling struck me as a fresh sensible evolution of the 458. However to my completely untrained eye those bigger air intakes in the rear haunches (feeding the turbos I guess) make it look from some angles like a slightly bigger car and with less delicacy than the 458. In yellow at least, in red they don't seem so bulgy.
Don't get me wrong it's still ruddy lovely and clearly an amazing bit of kit but on looks alone i'd take a "skinnier looking" 458 as I would an F40 over an F50 should I score a remarkable lottery win.
