Guys need a second opinion,my Scud is due a service in the next two months and as usual i get a text from my local main agent reminding me.Last time it went to a main agent i was very disappointed on how they treated my Scud and feel very uncomfortable taking it back there
I have spoken to a very well respected independent Ferrari/Porsche specialist who look after a number of Scuds,F50's,F40's and come highly recommended also very local to me
The question is when and if i decide to sell the Scud would it put potential buyers off not having a full Ferrari main agent service history?
Thank you

Go Local, every time (with an older car). Mine is off to Foskers next week for the self same reason, just get a different level of service...

If you were not happy with service then others will likely have the same impression, independents are still specialists and know what they are doing. It's always been my view and others are welcome to say otherwise, but I believe good independents come from a ferrari background and decided to set up on their own. They come with plenty of experience and treat your car very well. I've taken mine to autofficinia and always had excellent service from them. Can't say that I've ever been treated badly by ferrari but I've always gone with whats local and best for me. As long as a car has service history it will be well respected by potential buyers when u come to sell.

Just my oppinion
