If you wanted a grey manual coupe then there be prepared to wait - for the UK I see 10 manual coupes in Grigio Silverstone and just 3 in Grigio Titanio.

Plus, everyone knows that Grigio Silverstone is the connoisseurs choice....

Yes, I must try a manual someday; if only to reaffirm how much superior my F1 is wink

Manual F430 values have gone up crazily since the beginning of this year.
In the US, it is the same, cars go from $150k to $250k.
In the rest of Europe, same too...

I would advise anybody to test drive a manual F430, this machine is astonishing smile
N/A 4.3L V8 with almost 500 bhp, mid-engine car, with the mythic Ferrari gate ! Very raw feeling.

......and let me guess......you have one? wink

When this bubble bursts the ones that have risen highest, fastest will fall faster and further.....all IMHO of course.

Maybe one day Ferrari will once again build something as pure/foccused as the F430 i.e. sperhical suspension joints, a manual gearbox, and an N/A V8. In that event the F430 prices are sure to be affected.

Anyway, just drive and enjoy, whatever 'box you have.

I'm curious. Since 2005 when F430 production began, stick shift cars have always changed hands more cheaply than those with F1 gearboxes. Voicey's market watch data illustrates this beautifully. Why has that trend reversed in just the last few months?

If Ferrari did ever decide to make another manual car, I can't help but feel that it would be a special edition in limited numbers, and if that were the case, I certainly don't think F430 manual prices would be affected, or at least not in a negative way.

I would've thought to get the mythical Ferrari gated gearshift you'd need a model that wasn't cable operated? wink

You are most likely right. I had in mind a market shift away from the technologies that can potentially sterilise a car, but if anyone can get it right, Ferrari can.

A lot of people mentioning the CF interior. Is it getting to the point where the cost to retro fit the desired CF options is less than the value that the car would increase due to its desirability?

In my case, carbon interior and seats were the main things that give the 430 interior a special and unique feel.

Otherwise the car feels quite ordinary inside to me and I really dislike the plain silver finish on the standard console, it looks and feels cheap in comparison to other manufacturers.

I had one and I agree with this completely.

Unfortunately I sold it a couple of years ago frown Fortunately I put the proceeds into a 360 Challenge Stradale smile

Buyers of these are paying a premium for the manual because they consider it more fun on an occasional use Sunday morning motor and it is pretty much the last manual boxed Ferrari..and its non-turbo and it sounds amazing!
