Buyers of these are paying a premium for the manual because they consider it more fun on an occasional use Sunday morning motor and it is pretty much the last manual boxed Ferrari..and its non-turbo and it sounds amazing!
But the F1 is also the last of the mechanically operated clutch, which in itself is a brutal/awesome experience. So I'm not so sure about the 'more fun' statement.

I've got similar in my 360CS and agree with you! Perhaps 'fun' is the wrong word. But manual, according to the market, is more desirable right now.

Involving is a better description. A different type of fun.

In my case, carbon interior and seats were the main things that give the 430 interior a special and unique feel.

Otherwise the car feels quite ordinary inside to me and I really dislike the plain silver finish on the standard console, it looks and feels cheap in comparison to other manufacturers.
