Hi,

I was wondering what the view was on trading a RHD Scuderia for a 488. The Scuderia is the last of a kind, with the F1 gearbox and arguably much more raw than the Speciale or 458's in general. So, it has a unique racecar feel. A Ferrari is a special occasion car, so everyday use is not an issue.

On the other hand the 488 is state of the art, faster etc. Looks very nice too.

Long term I can't help thinking the Scuderia will become another very sought after car, whereas the 488 will be more of the latest for a while, then superceded.

Interested in anyone who has made the change, or thoughts in general.

Unless you are driving for points, prizes or ego, outright speed on the public highway is secondary.
A sense of event and rawness will be far more satisfying and consistent elements smile

You have a future classic but it all depends on how much you will drive it and how long you will keep it. Garage it now and in ten years you would have made a killing!
