458 - Less attention in certain colours?

Coming from a 20 year old with no concept of supercar ownership, get whatever color you want, if anything I pay less attention to the red ones as there are so many of them about, would much rather see one thats in a more understated color, being said, at the end of the day your driving a ferrari and people are going to see it regardless. The 2 black 458s local to me get as much attention as the bright red 488 thats been around the same area of town. In my mind its more the shape and sound than the color of a car
The colour has EVERYTHING to do with being noticed. I drove a black GT4 for a day and hardly got noticed, I drive my Red one and everyone looks at it. End of.My black California used to get attention, but more subtle but all positive. Red 458 Spider used to get alot of attention, mix of good/bad (something about a red Ferrari seems to bring the haters out). I've now got a storm grey/carbon fibre McLaren 650S which as much positive as the 458 Spider, but no negative attention yet. Partly colour related I'm sure.

I must admit that I'm in the camp that says, why buy a Ferrari or Lambo and then worry about the colour? You are already making a statement by buying the thing and its going to get noticed one way or another, so get the colour you like, not the colour you think other people will notice less or think you less of a tt in.
Go red/yellow or go home I say.
I totally agree, I drive a Giallo Modena (yellow) F355 Spider, with switchable valve shouty Capristo level 2 exhaust, it draws a hell of a lot of attention but I don't care because I bought it to enjoy, and I don't really care what people think.Go red/yellow or go home I say.
