Wet day at Silverstone

Had a very wet but very enjoyable track day at Silverstone on Saturday. I've had a few like this now and while it used to make me tentative I decided to get an instructor on board this time. I've had a fair bit of instruction in the dry but never in the wet. I never realised just how different the wet line is in these sorts of conditions and together with adjusted braking and acceleration techniques I totally conquered my nervousness in the rain. One of my most enjoyable track days in a while.

The 'rumble' is from a rear wheel bearing on it's way out - job for the winter.
