A friend and I are looking to make carbon fiber parts that you can't purchase on the market already. We've got a couple of parts to offer for a Ferrari 360 already. They're quite Labour intensive to produce though which naturally makes them expensive. I know how much they cost to produce but how much would people be willing to pay for them?

Also if there's any parts that you'd want in carbon fiber that you can't find on the market let me know so we could look into it.

All parts would come with a 2 year warranty.

The only way you will make this work is to sell at a realistic price. Making a custom carbon fiber part for a Ferrari costs no more tan making the same part for a VW Golf, don't add the Ferrari tax.

Also you have to get some better photos with a suitable setting, and not what looks like your grans dinner table.

I've had various parts made for my F430 using Chinese suppliers - they have gotten pretty good at carbon now. I'll send them a part to copy and they reproduce it using either an autoclave or vaccum bagging, depending on the price/weight loss ratio I'm happy with.

The mirror looks good and I think is the same as the F430. How much do you charge for it?

The weave pattern looks odd on the bottom pic. Mark is right, the Chinese market is producing high quality stuff at very reasonable prices now....

It's £900 for the rear view mirror assembly.

The part is spot on and comes with a 2 year warranty.

If you wanted to try me for any carbon parts then I'm happy to quote you. We're ultimately looking to make carbon parts unavailable on the market. So long as you're patient for it to be made.

Hi, interesting post but did you see this on EBay.

Ferrari 360 Carbon Rückspiegel , Carbon fiber back mirror Interior Carbon Fiber

Only €500

I think you may need to be careful on pricing.

That is just a second hand mirror covered in carbon. The cost and materials on top of the mirror are less than £50... it's not difficult to do.

I think the OP is selling a complete assembly manufactured from carbon.
