Quick pic.

So does anyone know a good part number for the exhaust valve? I assume its not just a Ferrari part?

I have had a look on euro spares and they don't list a price..

Your options as far as I understand are:
- OEM
- Capristo
- Gothspeed (I think, on the US Ferrarichat website)

that's about it.

I've looked at exhaust valves for the 360 as I'm currently rebuilding an exhaust system, so not quite the same but similar.....

From what I've determined the valve bodies are bespoke and made by/for Zeuna Starker and the actuator is a generic waste-gate type actuator, so I think you will be stuck with the three options above for replacement.

If the current one is 'gritty' you might be able to improve it. If it is worn then it will take a lot more work.

I'd be interested what you can turn up. As all of these cars age, replacing exhaust valves is going to be common.

PS I love the 355 design....Open the valve and bypass everything, cats included!

There is a Capristo for sale in the parts section. You have not heard a 355 sports exhaust till you have heard a Capristo ; ) The Tubi is fat too tamed!

So I have opposite issue. My Nouvalari exhaust is too loud for me. I have taken the car to the Ferrari Centre and had a standard exhaust fitted, not sure what it will sound like yet as will pick up on Saturday. However they found the valve was forced permanently open and had been broken to do so, so it would be very loud. I now have 2 options with my standard exhaust, permanently open or closed. I need to hear and will decide the, however I am leaning to closed as I prefer to hear the engine and not the pipe at the back.

So I have a used Nouvalari exhaust for sale if anyone wants it. No video of the car at high revs but there is one here of my car being started and moved.

Very pretty car / doesn't sound too loud to me.
I would leave the valve alone if you prefer quieter, it needs to open though at higher revs - might not be good for the engine if you force it to stay closed
Nice garden too from what I can see

Running with the valve permanently closed is not a good idea and likely to cause issues with the increased back pressure at higher revs. Why not have a new valve fitted and have it as intended ie closed at lower revs and opening when needed?

The Ferrari valve is over £1,000.....if and when its available. There is a Capristo a little cheaper. Think I will run it open combined with a quieter exhaust it should be fine.....hopefully! Thanks.

Was droning on the M-Way quite loud, couldn't hold a conversation. Probably more to do with the valve than the exhaust. Not my garden unfortunately, its where Bourne to detail have their unit near Gatwick. I would recommend if you are nearby.
