From an enjoyment perspective I’d rather buy an F1 over Manual as I prefer them these days so it’s an easy decision for me.
I would agree . Having driven all three, manual F1 and dual clutch, I prefer the F1 for driving. I wouldnt prefer its mix of complexity and reliability. Mine at 11k miles had used 80% of a clutch which IMO is unacceptable. But it did give slick gear changes and there was a bit more involvement that the dual clutch which is all but an auto box.silber said:
Buying lowish miles and selling whilst still lower than most might be the way to play it, but it sucks to think about 'whether the miles are worth it' when the feeling calls. It's a Ferrari and deserved to be driven; you deserve to drive it!
Thats exactly how I found myself thinking about mileage, and yes it sucks.Maybe the answer is that 50k miles car thats half price.
You say young people are not into cars but all my mates kids who are teenagers all want a passenger ride and I have a long list who would like a lift to their prom. All the early 20's lads that worked for me in my previous business loved their cars and spent all their money modifying them.
