It's perfectly capable as a daily driver, but why would you? It's flashy, compromised (2 seats, reasonable but still limited boot space), thirsty, stressful (where to park, can you park without grounding the front, would you be comfortable parking it in "normal" places), etc. That's before you factor how putting reasonable miles on it would affect the value.

Plus above all else it would dilute the magic if you were to drive it every day, unless you were so well off that it would be like a normal car anyway.

Thanks for confirming how excessive OCUK profit margins are though wink

Personally I don't have a crystal ball, but looking at Pistonheads today, there are only 9 RHD 430 Spiders for sale with less than 15,000 miles, but many times more 458 Spiders. I think that several owners will start to offload their 458s because they are now running out of the free 7 year servicing and warranty period. So supply will increase and thus prices will fall. Personally, I think F430 Spiders will increase in value slowly. Both will perhaps rise in the Spring. F430 more so than 458

7 years of servicing but 4 years warranty, which is extendable at cost.

I actually think 458s are starting to take a tumble.

Brilliant, bought at the top haha

I got offered 30k less than I bought mine for 4 month ago last week.

They are still holding strong money, dealer bids this time of year are absolutely shocking, I would take no notice of them!

They are holding strong. Just sold a 2013 Spider for 180k, walked out the door. Good stock is good stock. Simples....

Yeah I'm gonna hold onto it and just use it as my daily I think. My man maths is saying I can put a fair few miles on it before spring and sell it then for probably more than current bids.

In many ways it's a good thing because I've psychologically accepted I'm getting fked one way or another. May as well enjoy it!
