Hi all,
I live in Hertfordshire and I am after a good reputable tyre-fitting centre for my 458. I want a new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports - not a fan of the Pirelli tyres at all. I have just had my time completed wasted by Pro Tyre - I ordered a full set on Monday and only the front tyres arrived - nobody knows where the rear set are so I thanked them for being utterly hopeless and asked for a refund.

Can anyone suggest a good place to reliably source and fit Michelin tyres in the southeast?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

These guys - and get the geometry done while you are there. https://blackboots.co.uk/

EDIT: And go for the new 4S instead of the SuperSports - great tyres.

This - go for the 4S, better than the supersports in every way. You could buy the tyres from Camskill and pay to have somewhere local fit them.

Costco are well priced also - and while people will scoff at them fitting tyres on a supercar - I've used them several times and fitting a tyre is fitting a tyre, there's nothing special about Ferrari rims.

+1 on the 4S, they are the successor to the Super Sports.

Unless I'm mistaken the 458 needs those little hockey pucks to jack up properly as the undertray covers most of the bottom of the car. I wouldn't want to leave it to a random garage to put on their 4 post.

When I had mine done I ended up paying my dealer to do it just for peace of mind. frown

+2 I’ve been using them for about three years...they’re excellent. Last time I was in there they were trying to source tyres for a dealer who was exporting a Zonda.

Another thumbs up for Blackboots and Keith...had rears put on my 458 last week..great price and careful and passionate about their work! First tyre place that actually polished the outer rim of the car to remove the white gunj!! Impressive!
