Sorry, but another tyre thread.....

Need four new tyres for my Scud. Had the car 10 years and always fitted P Zero Corsas. Never used on the track, but most miles are done on European mountain roads.
Has anyone fitted other tyres recently that are any better. Can't say I find the Corsas a problem, but things move on ?

Thanks.

Not a Scud but the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S have been a revelation on my F430 on both road and track.

I plan to switch from Corsas to Cup 2 in the spring assuming Ferrari allows it (they so far were adamant that the Corsa is the only approved tyre - at least when I enquired about winter tyres). Mainly for better track performance. I have the 4S on the FF and they are indeed a good all weather tyre

Thanks. Different dealers say different things which is confusing.
Macaris say it's fine for the P4S and say they fit it, however two other main agents say only the Corsas.
Very unsure. The P4S are much easier to buy and lots cheaper. No good though if it's the wrong tyre.....

Ferrari can be a bit of a pain/stickler in that respect - the Sottozero winter tyre fulfils all criteria per the German Fahrzeugschein, but they say not approved as was only done for the Corsa. The Corsa is an ok road tyre, but depending on use there are better options imo

Thanks for the input.

Fitting the P4S, seems to be the tyre of choice for most.
If anyone is interested I will give feedback after my next trip to the Pyrenees in April.
