Has anyone seen this car or know anything about it:

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11087509?c...

Also has anyone tried getting a finance quote from Ferrari recently as back in the summer most would happily quote at 5.9% APR but on this I can’t get them to move from 8.8%.
I was interested in this car but couldn’t get this out it my head:

As regards the finance, I’d get an independent to look at it, in October I got 5.2%; on the car I’ve just bought it’s 6%.
Thanks, any recommendations on who to try?

Underwriters are governing APR rates now not the dealership and thanks to this cracking bit of consumer lead legislation everyone will pay more!

I suspect you won't get the residuals anywhere close to Ferrari from outside funding so it will be swings and roundabouts

curbed alloy(s) and dirty carpet mats are always annoying to see on an approved used ferrari tbh

One place did mention that but I thought it was normal salesman talk!

Agree Ferrari residuals are stronger but they aren’t guaranteed.

They have offered to discount the car to cover some of this but I would have expected some discount anyway.

I hadn’t noticed that. Oddly the pictures seem old as they sent me a video and the car now has a black wrapped roof and black floor mats.

You won't get a gfv on a car of this age unfortunately that would be a PCP rather than lease purchase but the 458 is too old to do a true PCP now. If they ever dip below the point where the final payment is over market value then we are all in the poop!

That is very true! Expect most are owned that way and lots would be gone if that happened.

Let’s see if I can get a reasonable part exchange price and APR

That's really interesting about the wheels, I thought they looked like 16M wheels. I'm a real fan of that car .. too much of a fan
I also have these wheels and was under the impression they are a £10k option but either way they are rare and look special.
You could be right about £10k, I was guessing from memory at £7k. Titanium wheel bolts too!

So miles might be a bit higher than most but is there any essential spec missing from this car ? Anyone know it or taken a look ?

Its a perfect colour combo and a very high spec 458 Spider missing nothing essential. Realistically priced and 24k miles is only 3k per annum for this 8yr old car.

Looks a cracker. All the carbon, posh seats, correct wheels.

Only slight negative (and it’s a personal taste thing) is that stripe.

I wonder why it's been for sale for a few months, given we all agree (me included), that it's a cracker of a car?

If white is your thing there is an interesting one at this main dealer....

https://colchester.ferraridealers.com/en_gb/search...

I am potentially looking for a first Ferrari and the 458 sounds like a good choice.
