I got a very snooty reception from Hillmoren a few years ago. He looked like the work experience boy TBH, so perhaps it could be because he wasn't entirely sure of himself, but he was also gobbing off about owning a lambo at the same time, so he could have been the owner's lad I suppose. Either way, it was uncomfortable.

a couple of 458's have sold this week from Ferrari dealers. I think that insurance claim news yesterday will keep things active still

I am in the hunt, Hillmordon have a lovely car just wrong seats for me also really want to buy from a main dealers
Yes they have. The one I was looking and had agreed a price (£8k discount) and finance rate on (6.8%) sold whilst I was in the process of selling my current cars as the part exchange offer was awful.

Very nice. What had you offered?

I’ve been offered another car similar to that minus carbon dash inserts and carbon rear mould and interior is cream. 2 owners and only 9k miles but is a 2010 so struggling to work out a value on it.

They had offered 5k of asking. Seemed ok for the miles.

I am in no rush but want the right spec and will not settle for anything less. Not like can go anywhere right now but i do get bored of looking. I must contact all the dealers and get my name down for one whatever they have coming in. I am very spec specific so not a easy find.

Its hard to value without some of the bits but 120k-125k imo... what seats?

It’s got carbon race seats so whilst I’d like carbon rear mould and dash inserts if I could get it at the right price I would be interested.

Yes probably not too bad given the age and miles.

I’ve let at least the few I’ve dealt with previously know what I am looking for hence the offer of the 2010 9k mile car.

Looks fab. Absolutely worth it. Really like the dark lower panel on the side, not seen that before, very nice detail.

Lovely car, i really like that but just couldn't dig the cream full time.

It is 488 money but low spec 488 and that has the wrong engine

A very good company to deal with, but like many recently, they purchase very low and sell very high. This Italia is way over value, despite the miles.

458s will all eclipse 488 prices in the end. Not keen on the speciale side bits. The cream interior I think I could live with though they always look nicer in the flesh. Paying a premium there for the miles IMHO. The 20000 miles and above cars are the sweeter spot for depreciation if you want to drive it without worrying.

the one next to it sold friday... 2014 7000 miles Italia, 160k

I dont think they are far of the mark if 2012's are selling with 20k miles for 140k

Just depends of you prize lies mileage. If I was after a lifetime keeper I would pay the premium and certainly have with some of my other cars but I just want to use the 458 as much as possible. I'll be disappointed if it has under 35k on it when I sell.

I've been looking for a spider and tempted by the Meridien car, however considering they probably accepted it in for £130k or less, have been hoping a decent car comes up privately. There was one months ago before I started looking but literally nothing advertised recently. Perhaps people just assume selling privately is unlikely and stump for dealer offers instead..? Surprised no one has tried selling privately on pistonheads before accepting dealer offer, considering some finance companies will finance private sales too. Not that fussed about spec either as long as its a more discrete colour e.g. grey, silver, black, etc. Guess I'll have to keep waiting...
