I think that’s really optimistic - no way they’d drop £k70 in 7 months - at least I sincerely hope not smile
We live in hope R. Imo they won't be far off that will have to wait and see. thumbup
Is that specific to the Pista/Ferrari or a broader view of the market ?
What is clear is the problem of excess supply seem Ferrari specific atm. with buyers concerned about the threat to exclusivity through excess manufacturing numbers.

Whilst Performantes late GT3s GT2 RS and even some Mclarens (not just the 600 LT either) are flying out of the door at very strong money the Pista Speciale and Tributo are hanging around and simply not selling at the money irrespective of Ferraris mastery of the market in carefully controlling supply of cars through their network.

C35 Pistas c25 Tributos and c20 Speciales for sale at the last count with prices respectively c£280k £225k and c£250k these are huge numbers available for buyers of such a similar car.

You could actually argue the Tributo is a cut price but more contemporary Pista offering very similar performance for alot less money and trade on these is currently upper £180ks making the Pista look way too expensive and the Speciale way too expensive for an older and slower car.

Whether things improve for Ferrari approaching Spring remains to be seen but major price drops are needed in view of the glut of cars on the market.

There will be less F8 Tributos built than Pistas. A nicely specced F8 at under £200k is a great buy IMO and not too far away it seems.

Yes I think the Trib offers the best value of the three cars and at sub £200k imo it looks sensible money and actually offers better value than the older and slower and vastly more lairy/quirky Perf.

Worth watching Ecoty 2020 the Performante Turbo S and 675LT were head to head with the Tributo. As expected Performance of the Tributo is midway between the slower Performante and faster 675 but what is more interesting is Dicky Meaden et al reckon Ferrari have nailed both the sound and power delivery of the turbo engine almost to n.a. characteristics.

Other thing not yet mentioned is the Mclaren effect with 2019 720S not far off mid £135ks whilst not everyones cup of tea and with the usual bugbears on reliability service and iffy network they do nevertheless offer incredible value against the three Ferraris we are talking about.

I really like 720S and as you say untouchable for sheer bangs for bucks. I've driven quite a few Ferraris and the F8 was the best to drive of the lot. Its the first modern Ferrari i've driven where they have finally nailed the steering. Its typically Ferrari quick racked but now with great feel and more weighing which makes it very intuitive. Not sure i agree with DM regarding the noise as i think its very muted compared to my 488.
Speaking of 488s they are hugely underrated and currently great value compared to 458s. I much prefer it to drive as the steering, damping and especially brakes are a massive step on from my 458. The F8 is better again although by a much smaller margin.
