I would agree, a cat registered catr is a total unknown quantity. I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole not even a 10k daily snotter let alone supercar.
Plus in a bad market there would be no buyers whatsoever and note we are in a hot market right now.
Anyway loving the 458 new additions here and fighting my self to keep powder dry until closer to the end of winter. Had to settle to take my 430 out yesterday and remembered with a sport exhaust and gearbox in race mode how good the car actually is.

As others have sad avoid that category car, I'd say it is only tempting if you could get it at 90-100k otherwise walk away as there are other cars available that are not category which are priced within 10% or so of that car.
Had a trip to Bournemouth at weekend visiting family and grabbed a great aerial shot of the 458.

I agree with everyone on here, the thing is, every time I buy a nice car - it’s a ‘forever car’ but I end up selling it after a year as I am bored of it ! So thinking about future resale is a must, at 100k def worth considering as you could get work rectified for that if it turns out to be a bit Ropey.

yes it came on sale between xmas and new year - 1 owner meridien supplied and serviced.
Apparently had loads of enquiries on it.
I was struggling - i'm probably in a minority as I didn't want red, white or yellow. So v restricted and finding the right provenance was purely by chance.

Lovely car that!
I can see 458 values going mental this year in the U.K. and start to catch up the crazy USA prices.
Already Speciale in U.K. now fetch more than Pista prices with lots of Pista still in dealer network at this rate could be a good deal to be done on Pista if they don’t start getting them sold.
