Beautiful Marc p.

What are your thoughts on presence/ absence of wing shields on the F355?

To prevent an argument the shield should be on one side of the car only

I like that smile, outstanding. There will be no argument about silly wing badges from me, I have heard them all before. wink
On a serious note, i like some ferrari's with and some ferrari's with out them. It's down to personal choice, it's your car so why ask for approval.
But my own personal pet hate about wing badges that I have said on various ferrari forums over the last 20 years is. I don't like putting £3.70p plastic factory wing badges on a multi thousand pound ferrari.
I personally feel that if you must have the wing badges, buy quality metal badges that compliment the car.
Which then brings us to the discussion of in dented or not biggrin

For the record although my 360 has proper original wing badges I am mostly ambivalent. They do seem to sit better on mid engine cars than front engine ones, but on no way shape or form would it be a deal breaker for me.

What would be a deal breaker is fake stick on ones

I may be wrong but I think for a 355 to have original, factory fitted wing badges it has to be a pretty late car. I had one of the last (possibly the last) UK reg 355 spiders. It had proper indented wing badges and was considered unusual as they were rare. I agree with the poster above re stick on ones - absolutely not.

The snobbery of this part of the thread. Just so you all know, they are called shields, not wing badges. The only way to have them is factory and preferably painted.

Even on multi million euro ferraris, the factory fitted "badges" wink can look some what wrong.
Look how pissed these look on the ferrari flagship. The paint design does not match the placement. Could have been better maybe.

Have to agree, that looks rubbish. Probably would have been better not to have them on that particular car.

Aren’t all the F355 wing badges “stick on”, even those on the OEM recessed wings?

My phone keeps auto correcting shirts to shirts

Hence giving up and saying wing badges

Anyhow, after a winter drive today mine got cleaned, blow dried with hot air including the discs and pads

Note the shirts which I think look good on a black car
