No, it doesn't. While they are of the 136 "Family" it shared none of the same components.

430 prices are the lowest they have been in years, and in my view will start increasing over the coming couple of years. The 430 is streets ahead of the 360 in terms of handling, modernity and refinement, and shares the same engine as the 458, for a fraction of the price. I would say if you can afford one, move now - there's plenty in the classifieds.
I've driven a 458 - a superb car but a little bit too "PlayStation" for my liking - it's on the cusp where the electronics take over the spirit of the car. And its not worth a 50% price hike on a 430.
I'm based in South Africa, and just love driving on these roads!
not sure this is quite right, having owned both a 430 and a 458 (dont get me wrong, i LOVED my 430) but in summary...

1) They dont share the same engine - its completely different
2) The 458 is in a totally different league to the 430 (again, notice the point above about LOVING my F430, so I can say this with a good opinion) and well worth the premium

F430 is still a great car, but its no 458 smile

Don’t be silly, that’s just a 90 degree V8.
