I've noticed that some of the 488's that are specced with the race seats state that they are 'large size'.

Does anyone have first hand experience of these more generous perches please? How much larger are they than the normal race seats.

I ask specifically because I am quite small of frame and don't want to be floating around like a cock in a sock.

I've had 2 488s with the race seats and Large is the standard (and by FAR the most common) seat size. I've only ever seen a Medium size once but never sat in them. Sounds like you might fit a medium but I doubt you'll come across any.

I have the large seats in mine. My wife is quite petite, I am not sure exactly what she weights but less than 50kgs and she can drive / sit in it fine without sliding around.

I have medium goldrake seats in my current 488. I’m 5’9, 13.5st (gym goer). My wife is a size 10. Nice fit on both of us.

I’m pretty sure I had large in my 458. Not sure I can tell the difference, but there was a time gap between cars.

Having done some research it’s seems a very nervous time in these markets. 488 Prices seem on the edge with not much stock shifting at all and dealers holding prices with multiple fingers crossed I reckon. Great time for anyone with no px to make some really cheeky offers..

I need to get out of my as new 2022 GT4 so will have to take a bit of a hit on that but as long as I get the same benefit off the 488 it’s only the price to change that matters…I guess moving up as it were I’m the right side of the trade..

I notice the blue one at Kent hpc has disappeared, presumably pulled off by the owner after not moving at £133k..
