Hi all,

Any ideas if using my Ferrari trickle charger on a Bentley Bentagia would cause any problems???? Don't want to fry the Bentley battery biggrin It seems both the Bentagia and 488 have identical magnetic connections.

Thanks

My Ferrari charger was just a branded ctek unit. Should be fine unless the Bentley has a special battery voltage or huge batteries. Some Audis have electronics on the battery that pay up if jumpstarted but if you are using the charging points I reckon it’s ok

I am not an expert

A Bentayga conditioner went on Ebay recently

Looks remarkably like a CTEK in an expensive frock.

You can covert your existing charger with a Sharpie but simply writing “Bentley” on it.

Just checked and saw this - wow, how cool! Yes they'll work together.

Worst “I’ve got a Bentgayer and 488” post ever

Spelling quite novel, though.

I have cteks on Bentley, Porsche and McLaren.

AGM setting, Normal setting and a Lithium one.

Persumably they're in storage as future classics and you're using your Speciale as a daily.

Well the Mazda is in a colour that Aston call a premium colour smile and it’s totally unmodified

I have just used a non-Bentley charger on my Continental, which was working perfectly fine beforehand. It is booked into Bentley on Wednesday to determine why the electrics don't now work.

Aye, he's using the charger he would normally use on his 488 Spideria.

Just got my Bentley back after using the wrong charger on it. Total bill just over £3000.

Are you tempted to do it again? Just for badness?

Not particularly. Added to which Bentley were kind enough to give me a replacement charger.

The £3000 was a heavily discounted price incidentally, retail was around £4K.
