Been offered a Roma as a cancelled order - I don't get the feeling that unusual, and recon there's probably a few about. It's a really pretty car and the idea of being able to take the kids in it (1 and 9) appeals to me, as well as using it for a family road trip etc.

Not as exciting as an 812 which tbf is only 40k more 2nd hand.

Anyone got a Roma and love it? I think it's an extremely pretty car. Never driven one. Love my 488 now and don't know if I could part as it's just so nice looking.

I know a couple of folk who have chopped 488 for Roma and are very happy - its just a little bit more useable less in your face although the controls seem a bit love/hate and some of the software can occasionally be glitchy

Love mine Roma, although it's the first Ferrari I've ever owned so there is likely a "special" feeling that comes with that, although I've driven multiple other models.

I use mine as a semi-daily although when the weather is st I use the normal car. For me it's just a classically beautiful Ferrari and one I can use "easily" without needing to worry about suspension lifters etc (I drive it into the city and park in an NCP).

All that said, if you're hope is to use it for family lugging, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. The back seats are really just for bags/coats. I'm 6'3 and the seat is pushed all the way back to be able to fit in it okish, even then I'd love an extra couple of inches of legroom but there's literally zero space behind my seat ofc. My wife is shorter (5' maybe 3"?) but even then, legs are really unlikely to be able to fit in behind her in the passenger seat. If we want to go out with the kids, that's what the Lexus is for.

Bad reviews about the touch controls are overdone. It takes getting used to but no more for me than the indicators being on the steering wheel took getting used to. Once you're familiar with it, it's fine. You can change settings for how long the wheel touch controls are "active" once you activate them which helps too, I think when mine arrived from the factory the default setting was to leave them active for far too long (5 or 10 seconds maybe?) but reducing that to 1 or 2 helped as when I use touch controls, I tend to activate them to do something (cruise control etc) and then not need them again.
