Cheap 360 Manual
Discussion
Yes Sam's very please with the result. Glad to hear he's replacing it with a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale.

Mental. If anything it would put me off!
Agreed but with Sam's car I think it was a positive, he is a really decent guy who also really takes care of his cars and his invoices with AV Engineering will be thousands upon thousands spent, he also had a back to bare metal respray so though it was approaching 60,000 miles I suspect mechanically and aesthetically it may have been as good if not better than cars on less than half the miles.Would I paid 75k for the car, no as I'd still rather a lower mileage example, but good luck to the new owner and enjoy it.

I'm being cynical but how have you deduced that he's a "really decent guy"? Would I paid 75k for the car, no as I'd still rather a lower mileage example, but good luck to the new owner and enjoy it.
There are hours and hours of heavily edited footage of him online where he makes a living out of it but with that comment I'm assuming you know him personally?

Yet all the dealers and cars in the classifieds are 15-20k more , does this mean there stock is just stuck now ?
Guess they hoping to get lucky, or holding out for Spring. If I was looking to buy, any car which looked good I'd view and then make an offer, they don't accept, simply walk away as more cars will come to market and with more supply than buyers, there will be some sellers who will either price to sell or accept an offer.
Market is slow so as a buyer be aggressive and patient.
As a seller either price your car right, or be prepared to sit on it potentially for many months.

That said, are you talking about viewing a car that's on the forecourt for £80k and offering £52k?

No, I'd expect to be told where to go, generally speaking any offer should always be no more than 10-20% below the asking, depending on how well or poorly priced it is and of course condition. That said, are you talking about viewing a car that's on the forecourt for £80k and offering £52k?
If you view a car and the specification is amazing, the condition is superb then as a buyer you also need to be fair and realise what the seller has and as the saying goes if you find your dream car would you really want to risk missing out on it for potentially a few quid.
If a car is grossly over priced, I would not even email them, I suspect this is why so many cars sit around for months because when they are priced miles out, any potentially buyers will just totally dismiss even dropping an enquiry.
Market is on the move, downwards, if people want to sell their cars they need to be setting their sell price correctly, unless they have something truly rare and collectable, otherwise its a competitive market.
