Looking at back catalogues now rather than new hybrid stuff and want to dip my toe In initially at £80k.
Where would your money go ?
I have something in mind but wonder what the collective PH knowledge thinks ?
Needs to be a convertible

If targa top is an acceptable version of convertible then 3x8GTS is a no brainer for pleasure and ease of use

Targa is good.

I've only driven a standard 460hp standard car any decent mileage but I'd have a 490hp 30 if I was buying.
Plenty really nice low mileage cars well under your 80k budget.

355 would be my go to, but as you have one already then I think the 599 look very interesting.

Yes. Manuals are rare and probably over budget. When you understand the F1 box it’s pretty good except I slow town driving.

Would like a V12 599 GTB HGTE sometime in the future but at moment I'm specifically looking a spiders/ convertibles/targas to even my garage up.
Like to have best of both worlds coupe/ convertible

I have the 360 CS map on my F1. It’s very good, but on the open road the standard one was also good

A manual 360 will give you virtually the same experience (with better sound) as a manual 430 for far less cost. Most who hype them have not lived or driven with a manual 430, the technology of the time meant it was better suited to F1.

360 manaul, no E-Diff and TC that is best turned off, with CS engine map and alignment settings absolutely awesome driving car.

I'd go for a low mile 360 manual and have some change for servicing / upgrades.

The roof can be treated for protection.

I would buy a F1 430 spider for that money. I owned a manual 360 spider and it would feel old now, it didn’t feel it was that fast (coming out of an M3 at the time) and I personally felt the handling was lacking. The 430 felt a lot quicker and the handling was more confidence inspiring, plus I would buy one with F1 box, which I now prefer! Sounds fab too.

Should of mentioned I previously had one and replaced it with my current 430 Scuderia so it would potentially be like returning to an old girl friend now she is 10 years older
