Leaking shock absorbers, track rod ends, ball joints, drive shafts clicking

check clutch and brake wear

There were some reports of top end rattle that needs a lot of work to resolve, worth doing a search here, on Club Scuderia and Ferrarichat

They are a great cars, If you have not driven one go for a test drive, you will be amazed what 620bhp can do!

If you buy from a Ferrari dealer and it has full Ferrari service history, you can get a Ferrari warrantee, which covers most things. I would recommend this, try to make it part of the deal.

Full service history is essential, obviously. I find my GTB's management system sensitive to use/ battery condition - conditioner a must. Again, no surprise. I've had mine from new (07) and she's been very reliable but trade values put me off selling. Why do dealers tell you it's a beautiful example, like a one year old car, that they definitely want it and then proceed to inform you the market is awful and make you a low-balled offer that's hilarious? Why don't they just make the offer and be done with? Anyway, took the GTB up to town last week and it parked up on Bond Street it still cuts it. An imposing, powerhouse oozing elegance which draws many admiring glances. It's ability to happily potter along in traffic and then in an instant provide truly brutal acceleration remain key attributes. Just make sure you're not easily bothered by its significant appetite for fuel.

Hi matey, is there nothing you can't do?! Hope all's good, family etc. Missing your meets!! You serious about the GTB? Might be interested but only if I look after you, dealers do my head in and privates you just don't know if they're kosher. Sure there's a niche for a hybrid private/ dealer model based on trust, privacy and zero bullst. GTB's just come back from Graypaul fully serviced. 13K miles. March 07. Like new, literally. Fancy something new and boss wont allow anything unless I shift something. Anyway have a super weekend and hope to see you soon.

all good thanks, bar the fact that I have no car at the moment... will still sort the meets @ clophill though.....

given how well your cars are cared for, happy to sell..... do you have my email, send me a pm, lets get an ad up..... I filter the callers and only pass onto you those that are serious..... second caller for the nsx bought, I had no spoof calls etc...... with my car, TBH TH senior gave the best trade bid, sold to private buyer at full asking, other reasonable bids also...... I think the key is being able to filter the riff from the raff, and I think when people hear my/your passion, the serious buyer knows they will be buying a pukka car... and visa versa....

slightly off topic, but funniest callers were ones who asked whats the mileage/is there a service history etc when my ad contained every detail one could think of.....

So true! Fuel consumption is insane. It's hard to drive more than 400 km on a tank biggrin

Considering Chris Harris bought from a Ferrari dealer with a warranty, I really don't think that £10k to run a V12 engined Ferrari for the year is unreasonable at all and I was surprised at the tone of the article.
