Car looks absolutely stunning in the pictures, many congrats. Love the exterior and interior colour combo and the contrast of the yellow brake callipers against the black exterior.

Im just 9m into my first ferrari ownership with a 2008 599, still cant believe I have a V12 ferrari sitting in my garage. 2 seats is a big downer when you've got two kids who want to go out in it, alas the cheapest approved used FF was just out of reach for me last August if I wanted to keep my marriage intact.

Is it a daily drive or just a weekend event car with all the family able to come along too?

Ok So I have now owned my first Ferrari (FF) for 3 weeks and driven over a 1000 miles. Having owned 3 Maserati's , I thought I might share some observations on my first three weeks in an FF:

1) The reaction of others - Amazed, supportive, interested. Its been a privilege to answer questions and show the interested the car. It has created so much more interest that the Maser (please note I am still a massive Maser fan and will probably buy an Alfieri next cos its gorgeous)and I have had no "rich bd" attitude whatsoever

2) The noise and responsiveness - jeez its a different effing league. The Jekyll & Hyde ability of this vehicle is staggering. 90mph on the autobahn in Germany at less than 3000 rpm or blistering acceleration (read borderline scary)overtaking on single track roads around Durham and everything in between

3) Petrol consumption in London - I love the fact the car cannot tell you the mpg achieved! Instead I use range and its collapse around town tells me the mpg is scary in town

4) Start up noise of a Ferrari V12 is borderline embarrassing - its so loud - you can't do a quiet exit anywhere. I still giggle at the noise

5) The outside lane really does move over faster on the motorway for a prancing horse

6) The build quality is far higher than I expected - famous last words I know

7) The car has depth - I am now used to warming up tyres and ceramic brakes but I am nowhere near finished in understanding this car - that's gonna be a journey!

The biggest surprise is that Ferrari experience has actually lived up to 48 years of expectations - and that is quite an achievement!

You can add to it that it sounds lovely from the outside. Heard you drive past a couple of times, it sound lovely.
