So - new FF owner and I have spent the weekend understanding the infotainment system.

I am off to France shortly - anyone got an idea what I need to do with my AFS lights before I go?

Just went through this with thread on FChat...

Bottom line is beam is a flat dip so theoretically you don't need to put beam converters on.

Having said that given the general enthusiasm of les flics to find a reason to tell you off should they feel like it, I'll be fitting beam converters.

Most packs contain instructions for 458 - advice is to follow these.

I wouldn't bother. My lights have a similarly flat beam and I've never even been flashed by another motorist.

That was the official advice from Ferrari.

Like you I figured there would be a switch or software option.

Seems the lights are agnostic to side of the street its driven, so actually the best solution. Whether law enforcement gets this is another matter though I guess!

I was told by the AA at the port, if I had xenons I didnt need beam deflectors as the beam was flat.

(my Maserati, not an FF, sadly)
