I would consider £150k a good offer on 2013 car with what is effectively a tricky spec with nearly 20k miles.
I agree. The mileage does bother me though but i do love the spec .kith said:

I agree. The mileage does bother me though but i do love the spec .Took the plunge late last year as values seemed to have dropped considerably and I came across a very unique spec F12.
My first V12. What a car! Incredible power. I can't stop driving it even though roads aren't exactly optimal at this time of year.
The scariest car I have owned, and that's coming from my previous 430Scud. I must also admit that I haven't yet had the courage to put my foot straight flat to the floor in a low gear either... Hope that doesn't that make me a wuss.

I bought my F12 twelve months ago and I have never once thought about the depreciation/mileage factor.
Possibly this is to do with the fact I never intend on selling it but I just feel it’s very sad that some Ferrari owners are scared to put miles on them due to resale values. If this is the case why on earth do these people buy them in the first place?

Why does the mileage bother you? By all accounts the engines are bombproof if serviced to schedule.
I have never bought a car with over 10,000 since I was 17 . Also i,m ocd with my cars so they do need to be perfect and that is (usually) harder to find with cars with higher miles. I do realise that mileage is no problem for this engine though.B3NJY said:

Same here. Longest I have had a car for without starting to feel the itch to change. Absolute weapon. And two sets of golf clubs in the back. Can’t beat it Possibly this is to do with the fact I never intend on selling it but I just feel it’s very sad that some Ferrari owners are scared to put miles on them due to resale values. I have found a car at a very attractive price and low mileage still under warranty but spec is on the conservative side.
It has the essentials for me like the forged wheels, LED carbon steering, Ppf from new, lift, shields. But it’s basic seats with red stitching and no carbon at all.
Can some of the carbon be retrofitted ?
I saw Ferrari genuine catalogue listing it and I asked a dealer to provide pricing but they are yet to come back. Dash inserts and F1 bridge would be nice to have.
Rest I can live with, Daytona would be nice and maybe a trimmer could achieve it but if not so be it. I could keep an eye on breakers to see if a pair of carbon seats come up.

That's good because as i see it none of these are selling.CitySlicker said:
A friend of mine bought an 812 which didn’t have any carbon so he ordered 80,000 eur worth of the stuff to be retrofitted by the dealer. I presume you can do the same on most recent Ferraris.
WoW ok. Clearly not in that league... but from 20x less I could think about fitting some parts without going nuts hi all
can anyone tell me if from factory one was able to option the F12 side skirts and rear bumper that come in the plastic material as body color? i have just bought a nero daytona F12, which i have fallen in love with and i have seen a few F12s that have those plastic parts in body colour black, which i think makes a huge difference to the look of the car, however i will only paint them if it was something that could have been optioned from new, as i like my cars to look as OEM as possible
Please let me know.
cheers.

You could definitely have them painted black on a 488 so would assume so.can anyone tell me if from factory one was able to option the F12 side skirts and rear bumper that come in the plastic material as body color? i have just bought a nero daytona F12, which i have fallen in love with and i have seen a few F12s that have those plastic parts in body colour black, which i think makes a huge difference to the look of the car, however i will only paint them if it was something that could have been optioned from new, as i like my cars to look as OEM as possible

F12 must be driven in ESC off, different car then and much much more fun. Even ct off is way too nannied. Esc off is the whole point of the f12 IMO
Wow, that's balls.. I drive mine in anger in Race and it is terrifying on normal roads. How quickly it can step out of line at speed.. not sure I would switch off more traction control !! I seriously need to go to a track and learn its on limits better, anyone know where one does not need a helmet, as no chance I can fit in with one on...? I saw a video this dude driving his and the rear stepped out in a flash..he wound the lock in perfectly at probably 80.mph on a busy road, like hmm.. It seems you need to wind in a bit more lock than maybe you'd think in the F12. speedbird1000 said:

I had heard of robert colbourn, who teaches both on road and at Millbrook, I have not tried him myself but would be very keen to... Gassing Station | Ferrari V12 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
