It won't come to you! If you place a 140k offer on any decent F12 priced up to 159k you may get lucky.

Currently the lowest priced F12 is at Nottingham Grey Pauls for £149000, does anyone think there will be a market price adjustment anytime soon. Or does this seem good value?

I bet if you try hard enough this will be yours.

I agree ferdi.

My guess is you would struggle to get a £125k trade bid for an early car in a sensible spec/mileage right now.... these cars are sat at dealers at pre Covid prices of £150k. You won’t see them advertised for £125k but I reckon if you were serious and made a lot of phone calls over the next two or three months you might buy one.

I think if the market for the F12 goes down to the 125k mark which I doubt it will then the whole market will have significantly crashed as I believe the F12 is one of the safest options at the moment money wise.

Autumn might be too soon as everything is in suspended animation at the moment, but almost certain you’ll get 125k F12 by winter.
They’ve been heading south anyway, it’s normal, and 812s will be putting pressure on from the top.

Why would they not - front engined V12 Ferraris used to lose a ton of money pre 2012. 550s were available at c. 40k, 599s at below 80k etc. I would be surprised if they don’t hit low 100s or even high double digits over time. People nowadays seem to look at cars like people looked at tech shares in 99/2000 - statement along the lines of it is the new normal, they will never drop, the world has changed etc etc - yeah sure good luck with that

I thought you were happy with £140k, on here showed you it was probably possible.
.

Now you doubt the £125k figure which has been said is probably the trading figure right now.

Perhaps you should wait until they hit £100k.?

I don’t get what you’re saying? I said that you can’t get a decent one for 140k now and someone said they will be 125k soon and my reply was if they did drop to that and I doubt they will.

Who says you can't get a decent one for 140k?

Do you mean there are none advertised at 140k? If so, then I agree, if not, then I suggest you make a few offers & see how that goes...

I have. All I am saying is at the moment I can’t see you getting a decent one for 140k. After all this is over and the economy does a nose dive you maybe able to. For me the valuation doesn’t bother me as mine is a keeper so values don’t really matter. To be honest if they do take a nose dive it will benefit me as I’m looking for something else. All I’m saying is I believe the F12 is one of the safest bets financially on the supercar front barring your limited edition cars but I agree all will take a hit.

But let’s say prices do take a 10/15/20% hit then I won’t be unhappy as it will save me a few quid on my next purchase.

I don’t know what people have managed to get off from Ferrari main dealers but I have always found you can’t get them down much.

I agree about not getting much off in normal times, however some have stock that they just want rid of before the prices take a further tumble.

I think a nicely specced 13/14 plate F12 will be 130k soon or possibly less. Phenomenal value for money but after this nightmare is over there will be alot less demand for these types of vehicles imo.

I’m not sure my input has the importance to increase prices yet.

Like I’ve said in an ideal world prices can dip for me as if an F12 was 125-140k I believe the likes of the 488, Huracans etc would take a bigger percentage dive. Only my thoughts I could be wrong

Fully agree with you - would love cars to depreciate a lot more than they did over the last 5-6 years - more deprecation means more cars I can buy

Chaps - read what is written, it helps sometimes.
I said £125k Autumn ish - that means somewhere between Sept and Dec. Not “soon”.

That being said, I think anybody planning on buying anything “interesting” before the arse end of summer anyway, is being...optimistic.

Didn’t the collecting cars one sell for sub 140k btw in a pretty good spec ? Just saying...

On a more important note. Anybody changed tyres on their f12 before I start a new thread. Seems the MCSS in k2 have been discontinued. And not available in non k spec either.

The MCS4S is available but in non K from size 255 and in k1 spec for rears (that’s the 812 tyre). Write to Michelin but of course the company line is you should not use them. On Ferrari chat they say people have done it and also add non K spec has narrower tread width so to go with 265 and normal K1 315 rear.

Pzero seem to have same issues. With new pzero available in rear k spec but not front. And even older one seems difficult to find in front k spec. Although would really want to avoid refitting older pzero as they are an inferior tyre on all aspects compared to MCSS let alone MCS4S.

Thoughts welcome.
