I don’t have any. I can’t process any.
This is the culmination of a 40yr obsession.
I’m still stuck at being the little boy stage.
Really nice to hear someone that happy on what is a momentous day - far too many people don't seem that excited with what should be the realisation of a dream! This is the culmination of a 40yr obsession.
I’m still stuck at being the little boy stage.
I remember collecting my 550 a few years ago and I felt exactly the same as you - speechless & overjoyed
So I got the chance to drive her a bit more this evening. There was a football game on which meant some roads were clear…
Got to stretch her legs on the run down to Goodwood and DEAR GOD CHRIST ALMGHTY!!!
Two immediate thoughts: damn this thing is good!
The second many of you will not understand, actually some of you won’t even comprehend the context: it’s a big boys Sagaris, done properly.
She drives like a grown up Sagaris. The manners are the same, the method of delivering the performance is the same. The front and back communication and balance are the same. Everything is just turned past 12.
But everything is done with an underpinning feel of depth and quality.
I used to compare the Sagaris back in the day to the 911 Turbo. Where the 911TT hit 9/10 on everything, the Sagaris hit 10 on some, 5(and below) on others.
This thing takes that 911 brief and hits 10+ across the board.
The engine. The engine. fk it, Enzo was right - you bought an engine, now just be sodding grateful we gave you the rest of the car for free! To go from 25mph to whatever the fk speed in top bloody gear!! And never even remotely feel challenged. No wheezing. No grumbles. It just punches and delivers and punches and punches and punches.
This whole thing is epic beyond my dreams.

Reading between the lines i think you're rather taken with the F12 . Great to read a new Ferrari owner living his dream especially when the car surpasses his wildest expectations by a huge margin.
More posts like this on Pistonheads would make it a nicer place to frequent.
