Sold for £87102 plus fees so that's about £93k. I wonder what a dealer would advertise it at?
Lovely colour. Was this a bargain?
I think that's a lot of car for the money in a nice colour combo.

Things against though....

First year of production
Private sale at auction
Very questionable vague answers given about the warranty situation with no proof one existed at all.
Little in the way of service documents.
The run up to Christmas during a recession isn't a great time to be offloading a V12 Ferrari.

So £90k seems to be the floor for early non pano roof cars still.

Non-issue as the only thing of potential concern would be brittle tie wraps in the DCT. If they’re going to fail, they would have done so by now given that the car is over 10 years old. In fact, the 2011 cars are better put together than some of the later cars as Ferrari were taking more care in their construction.

Coming along like buses now.

LHD low km's

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2012-ferrari-f...

Never a great thing selling a LHD car in a RHD country after you've cut off lots of trading agreements with your local LHD neighbours.

Could be a bargain for someone who spends a lot of time on the continent.

I'm not a big fan of red FF's but these darker shades sometimes look quite nice.

MPS4S K2 245/35/20 are for the Porto and Roma and have a much narrower tread so avoid them for the FF.

I also won’t use anything other than Michelin on the FF having switched to MPS4S for summer and Alpins for winter.
Many thanks for the clarification on these. Bargain, set of 4 PS4S K1 for just under £1K from ATS of all places. Michelin deal, £64 off a pair.

I just paid £1320 for a pair of proper rears (P Zero Corsa Asymmetrico) for my Murcielago... A dear month for tyres here. Paid £59 earlier in the year for a pair of fronts for my mother's Chevrolet Matiz, so it all balances out I guess...biggrin

Since this seems to be a very active FF thread, a quick question to all present and/or past owners.

The 458 fits inside my garage very comfortably, as would an F12 which is actually not that much longer at all, but an FF being considerably longer 4 seater shooting brake does not.

Are there any owners past or present who have kept one outdoors mid or long term, under a outdoor cover or anything similar?

I am guessing the answer to this question is 'no' and I ruled it out after some consideration to potential options e.g. storage for part of the year etc but as it's just too long to fit indoors I wanted to check if that was the case for anyone else who bought one anyway?

I keep my Lusso outside all the time, no cover just use it as a regular car, it’s got PPF, no issues at all with it.

Strong money for a super clean monochrome low mile 2016 FF at Dlck Lovett.

Lovely under the radar spec if it's your cup of tea.

Interesting- thank you. Does anyone else do the same or would do the same? One side of it is looking after the car, the other is security I suppose. If a car lives outdoors people coming to the house (I don't mean friends or guests who have been invited) for whatever reason would presumably see it and with a Ferrari that may not always be the best idea?

Agree regarding PPF my 458 has full PPF+ceramic coat and it makes the world of difference not cheap but would do the same for any Ferrari 100% worthwhile in my experience so far.

Fundamentally my car is garaged as it makes my insurance cheaper.

I'm also more comfortable with it being out of sight, that said, my property is gated and it can't be seen form the road anyhow.

I chose not to buy a Ferrari until I had the facility to garage it at my home address. Storing off site is just a nuisance and it would irritate me.

Much of this is personal choice and realistically these modern cars are not the delicate flowers that Ferraris of old were. They do need to be put on tenders though if it's going to sit for more than a few days at a timevdue to the persistent use of rubbish batteries from factory.

I guess it would also be relevant how much you're using the car, if it's a 1000 miles a year, it's going to need wrapping up. If it's a daily less so.

Although I daily mine and it's in garage so you can safely ignore my opinion!

Mine has largely lived outside and seems fine, it gets used regularly just not everyday (3,000 miles a year).

It lives a minute or two from my home, so I have an ecoflow delta powerstation in the boot which the tender plugs into. The ecoflow is internet enabled via portable wifi so I can monitor the battery voltage remotely with the tracker and switch the tender on/off as needed, to keep the battery in a good place. It can last a few weeks if needed.

You can also get locking wheel nuts from Maranello Classic parts if you want them. Specialised Covers in Shipley do a good custom made cover for the car too.

There are plenty of stories of people driving them through the winter/snow, so they seem pretty robust.

I’ll caveat that by saying if I had the space it probably would go in the garage but other cars are in there. If the the car was on view and not behind gates I might have a different perspective but the car itself will be fine outside. As others have said, it depends how much you are using it. Surely the point of an FF or Lusso is everyday use but yours might be different.

don't know if you have been in central London recently, or in the past, but many ferraris live outdoors all year round there...and are used daily. My Challenge Stradale has always lived outdoors and always performed.

And it's back again. This doesn't suprise me in the slightest.

There were some really sketchy answers to questions re service history and warranties during the first listing of this FF, much of which simply didn't add up.

So I imagine the buyer pulled out. I wonder if they get their fee back from CC?

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2011-ferrari-f...

Lets see if it's a bit more factual this time.

Where's the service history and does it have a warranty?

Very interesting. Obviously not as originally described or the vendor found a major fault & threatened legal action?

And was this not for sale privately recently for a lot less than this?

You don’t have to look for to see how collecting cars work, it’s not all good…

To be fair, it wasn't CC with any sketchyness, it was the vendors answers to questions.

I've sold a car on CC and I have say it was spot on, but my advert was precise and all questions answered fully.

I'd never buy off there unless it was something cheap and fun.

Are you sure that's the same car? It's unusual for Ferrari approved to be involved with something they have no history with. They have to offer a two year warranty on it after all.

Yep, they've got full history and it still had about 8-9 months of ferrari warranty left.
