Also as an other question about FFs - I take it I should run it just on super unleaded? Or is it like an Aston V12 where it’s just mapped for 95 and there’s no benefit to the higher octane?
I only use V-Power in my Lusso. I assumed Ferrari V12 engines are mapped for higher octane fuel?

They'll run fine on 95, might make a few more HP on vPower etc but they're so bloody fast anyway there's not much point! smile

I use both fuels in mine but it’s hard to get super near where I live so I’ve had a few 3-4 tankfuls of 95 Ron at a time and it makes little difference, maybe slightly better on fuel and revs a bit cleaner if you get me.

I use shell if possible as bp are an absolute con for the 98 Ron.

I got mine from Ferrari so had two years warranty but that run out this year and I didn’t renew it as I asked a few techs and they said the FF is pretty good reliability wise for the newer ones (mines a 2015 MY) and they don’t see them very often so hopefully I’ll be ok with my one.

Saying that I had the drivers side window lift fail and it was replaced before the warranty run out but I can live with those sort of issues as it’s the big mechanical issues you really don’t want.

Definitely has more than enough BHP smile It was more just wanting to look after the engine.

I have 5 Shell stations within 5 miles of home in all directions, so it's easy to get V Power. Pricey though.

This car has just not budged which is strange for a 2015 with a glass roof: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/201902064...

It has some impressive mileage for its age. Has anyone had a look at it who want's to share (maybe via DM)?

Picked the car up finally. Love it! Can’t believe how quiet and dosile it is to drive, then how much it changes when you put your foot down.

I’m going to order a valve controller as it’s too quiet below 3k rpm in sport mode. Also need to look into some sort of sat nav/radio upgrade. Does anyone know of any that will still work with the steering wheel volume buttons?

That is lovely. What did you have previously? I’m considering one to replace my R8

Give Greg a call at Auto Audio in Park Royal. They’ve done work on a number of FFs so could advise on a good satnav with steering wheel connection.

Hello, what do you think about this one:
https://www.gcmotors.co.uk/used-cars/11807394-ferr...
if not that go for a Turbo S instead: https://www.leistungauto.co.uk/product/porsche-911...

Do you think it's good value, what question would you ask the dealer. I'm going to make sure I get the details about the warranty, and make sure the PTU is covered. Any other advise?

The Fezza is dull on the outside. The Porsche is dull on the inside. Where would you rather be sitting?

And the rear bumper of the Fezza looks like it’s had paint. Could be an innocent parking scrape but you’d probably want to dig a bit deeper. And they’ve advertised it as being blue when it’s clearly black. Sloppy.

Yup. Photos 2 and 3 show that something is not right in the transition from the rear wheel arch to the bumper.

I think I know what you mean, its a sharp contrast between panels.

Yes. This is what it should look like.

I looked at this last year, when I started this post, it was £125k then, its dark brown interior and feels a little gloomy inside, it looks good outside, but not that 'special' feeling inside

Thanks for your comments Skip - agreed. Lots of interior options have been ticked but the colour of the leather is just wrong. My wife said it's too dark.

That £99k black car looks like the front is matt and the rear bumper unit is gloss? Needs a visual inspection. Maybe it was blue and the back is a wrap? No pictures with the doors open so hard to tell.

Thing about the 'wrong' exterior colour is you can always do a trial wrap to zero in on the 'right' colour before committing.

The colour looks like Pozzi Blue. It’s a non metallic navy, almost black.
