Each to their own but I suspect you are referring to traffic creep or slow manoeuvring situations where absolutely it can be tricky. At any speed above walking pace the clutch is fully engaged and no longer a factor in torque delivery to the driven wheels.
There is no right answer here, you clearly don’t like it, I find it spot on for a car of that era. Yes, Ferrari no longer fit F1 gearboxes but neither do they fit manuals. Doesn’t make either rubbish, just no longer appropriate.
