Can the harnesses be easily swapped out for regular seatbelts?

Nice 550 for sale with a sensible asking price if anyone is looking for a red one.

does anyone have any idea on the cost of a retrim on a 550?
I agree with this chap that black interiors aren't the best .

As ever it depends on to what standard you want it done.

I've also considered this and the only place I'd be interesting in taking it would be here:-

I think you're realistically looking at between £10k & £20k depending on the exact spec. The upper end of that number is going to include dash out and retrim, daytona seats, quilted headliner, quilted parcelshelf etc.

I remember John posting the costs of what he had done on his 550 (linked above). He got a mates rates deal for all that work of some where between £6k & £7k, but you can see it's only partial.

But would the hides used be up to the factory standards these days with modern treatments?

Pretty much why I'd only go and see these people.

I talked at length with... https://www.leathercaredirect.com/history ....when having my interior reconnollised. They are both ex Connolly guys and were the only company approved by Connolly before they went out of business in 2002. A few hours in their company is quite an education on how products and processes have changed over the years.

Thanks for the plug - I don't visit here very often.
