F12 Owners

I'm looking at F12's and had a couple of questions.

Do they have /need lift?

What are the must have options?

Mine had lift and i never used it - dealers will tell you they need shields and interior carbon (drivers zone/wheel/with leds at the very least) - extra leather is always nice to have. colour wise many prefer the darker shades and greys/blues, but again down to personal choice. most are well specced, and plenty out there, so be fussy it's a buyers market.

Lift is a must, more for steeper inclines and awkward entry/exit angles. I wouldn’t be able to get in/out of the car park I keep the car in without it. Peace of mind too.... I displayed the car at Hampton Court and with lift I could drive across the uneven grounds as easily as the van I was following.

Interior carbon was a must for me as it makes it feel much more special to be in. Everything else I would say is personal preference. Passenger display is a dated gimmick. Forged diamond cut wheels look best to my eyes and so this is what I went for.

I use my lift all the time and sometimes when I don’t, it scrapes bad.

My F12 does not have lift, 3 years on now and it has never scraped. My Pista does has the lift option fitted however I have not needed to use it.
