Got the car and all I can say is wow!

Im not sure exactly what has changed from the SuperFast to the GTS but it feels like a different car.

I think they've just dialed everything back a touch so it's all a bit less frenetic and nervous, feels more composed.

It's so much more than a Superfast without a roof....and the noise!!!!! cloud9

i think it will prove a much more usable and enjoyable car with the responses dialed back a touch. the standard Superfast was all a bit too much in my opinion - enjoy.

Very nice. Best new car at the moment, imo.

Very nice.... I nearly pulled the trigger on one of these...timing just a bit off with finances.... I am praying a few people ordered these in Blu elettrico with race seats.
I will be on the hunt for one of these either at the end of this year or next ....It will be decatted plus a novitec exhaust, and I would keep it for life, with a stupid grin on my face for the rest of my days...
The engine is a masterpiece and the interior is great too, totally worth the extra price of entry compared to the current ferrari V8 variants.
Enjoy in good health... (most importantly make sure the tyres are up to temp before playing) even in wet mode with all the stability systems on, I was in a mild accident when the dealer took me out in the 812 demonstrator.
Driving that with the roof off in the summer..............biggrin

Can't help feeling curious about this... is there a story to tell?

I won't derail this thread with the story, no one was injured and it would be unfair on the salesman also.
I was not driving simply as I only had my licence with me, and Ferrari wanted me to have both my passport and my licence, which I have never been asked to provide at any other dealer before, so I did not have my passport with me.

If any of you lucky GTS owners are looking for a nice reg please PM me. It looks like I will be going coupe or v8 spider this time around so the plate I have needs a new home.

Might be worth mentioning what the plate is

At the risk of sounding daft, what’s the headroom like in these? I’ve had a deposit down for 18m or so, at the time a test drive wasn’t an option, so I just went for it. I’m told ‘under normal circumstances’ I would be speccing it this summer, but I’m happy to have a later car. I’m 6’3 and wondering if I will fit comfortably?

As far as I can tell, headroom is the same as the Coupe.

What do the dealer say?

I'm 6'2 and fit in very comfortably (GTS with racing seats), I guess it depends if you have long legs or not!

If some of you new GTS owners would drive your car quite a bit, that would be highly appreciated. I’d like to pick one up in 3 yrs suitably depreciated by miles on the clock, so er get cracking yeah? smile

Normal SF coupe holds no interest for me Bertie. I’ll take a normal F12 for that ty. Then a GTS in 3 yrs time.

Think I saw this heading into marlow today. Looked awesome.

I am curious how the roof works. Is just a lid that you manually take off?
