My spec is Rosso Maranello and the interior is crema/nero with rosso detailing and I’ve deleted the coloured band around the instrument binnacle which will reflect badly in the windscreen and be intensely annoying. I’m ok with the central stripe on the top of the dash which is outside line of sight.
No exterior carbon, added front lift, carbon sports seats without seat lift is the combo which sits you lowest in the car. No driver aids, just the backup camera. Mine’s coming out at 357, so modestly spec’d compared to some. Anyone got delivery dates? I worry about a significant price hike because of all the crap around at the moment.

I also had no exterior carbon at all as I feel it’s nicer to spend it on the interior where you can see and feel it and I think I had virtually every option interior wise.
I had every driver aid available as I actually like acc as I usually overtake slower traffic but when you’re in a convoy going into a city centre Acc is very useful. Also as I intend to keep the car long term I want all the driver aids.
This meant I left the triple colours behind but when I chose a Bordeaux interior the rosso mugello made perfect sense anyway.
The only things I left behind I wanted was passenger display as I didn’t want my passengers passing out. I could of gone further with paint and carbon but I felt the spend didn’t bring enough reward to where I wanted to be if that makes sense?
Rosso marenello is the best colour I’ve had in my Ferrari journey and it looks fantastic on my ff.

I agree the F12 is a better looking car but if you want a convertible, it’s the only sensibly priced game in town. I merely chose those cars at random to illustrate that it’s not that big. I was surprised to see it’s smaller than a DB11 which has the same front engine V12 pushes as far back as possible configuration.

Trouble is the GTS is another 36mm longer then the SF which makes it 75mm longer than the F12. Whether someone can tell the difference in an extra 75mm is another matter although my wife swears she can.
The additional 120kg for the GTS over the 812 is very significant. Main reason I wouldn’t switch mine. All I can say having had the 812SF for 18 months before the GTS is that the GTS feels just as quick, no bigger, and feels like the finished product
I prefer it massively but I regard it as a super GT not a sports car.
If you want Ferrari sports cars you go mid engine in my opinion.
I’ll report back later on how 812 Competizione fits in

I have no experience of the SF but we have a GTS and it certainly doesn't feel overly big or unwieldy, it's a very nice place to be in fact. Just as a gauge, when parking it in the garage (we have lifts so you have to get between posts and avoid the floor bolts!) it's a lot easier than the 488 spider we had which really did feel wide.I prefer it massively but I regard it as a super GT not a sports car.

You are just showing off mentioning the Comp Bertie
Fair cop guv.
My point is though that either is crazy fast beyond anything you can use on the road, and they’re both Super GT not sports cars.
Also I suspect but of course don’t know how many people saying they wouldn’t want a GTS have driven and lived with one.
To me the GTS is twice the car the SF was, so letting st go for GTS was easy, and why I’m having a hard time deciding what to do when (clang!) Comp lands.

You're eyes are better calibrated than mine if you can spot a 39mm differance in length between an F12 and an 812....
That was my 812 SF in rrosso Maranello......absolutely stunning colour in the flesh.
I love this colour. The best red 812 I've seen so far was one at Wilmslow Ferrari which was Rosso F1 2007, but way out of my budget. That was my 812 SF in rrosso Maranello......absolutely stunning colour in the flesh.
