Nice one that. Can't help think the callipers need to be yellow though. Shame you can't retro the carplay.
I went aftermarket. Phone just stays in my pocket or centre console. Wireless carplay and Android auto is amazing. Just had a roadtrip in Wales and another in Norfolk and was so handy to have my plotted route on the screen.Spinner20 said:

You can retrofit the upgrade via Ferrari but it's stupidly expensive for what is still a rubbish system.I'm going aftermarket next week. In fact I was going to fit the Pioneer unit above but decided on a Kenwood as I'm happy with Wired Android Auto, I'd have to plug in to charge the phone anyhow so I may as well go with the wired unit.
Interestingly, the new Ferrari SUV (that's not an SUV!) is one of the first new high end vehicles not being fitted with a Nav unit. They've decided to go with carplay and AA on the grounds the phone system will always be more up to date than a built in unit. Makes sense.

I did ask F.Dealer when in for a service and they said you can't Carplay upgrade. I even have the later stereo which is compatible but it's a factory only option. So far I am just blue tooth to the unit to stream and use Waze on my phone with a holder that goes in the round air vents and works quite well actually.I'm going aftermarket next week. I forgot who, but somebody on here has after market rims on his FF - which ones are they and are they TÜV approved?
Girlfriend put my front wheel into a curb (avoiding a motorbike) and now I need a new tyre and quite possibly new rim (although I hope not) - might as well use this as an excuse to finally get a second set of rims to make changing to winter tyres easier ...

Parts 45 vs 47 on the following parts diagram shows the differing units with or without carplay. It's a parts swap not a software upgrade.

It appears it's something your dealer isn't aware of or simply wants nothing to do with.
If you happen to have rear seat entertainment (as I do) they are Alpine screens run by a very obscure DVD/CD changer in the boot and operate independently of the head unit as a stand alone system.
Just go aftermarket, it's a far superior solution and completely reversible. Not only do you then get carplay but the aftermarket head units are far superior when it comes to output and even with standard speakers sounds much better.
Mine is being done at the end of next week, I'll post some pictures.
Supply and fit of Kenwood head unit and all harnesses to make the steering wheel controls work is £1250 all in.
Although I have the earlier system, the installation is identical.

Would that be me?Girlfriend put my front wheel into a curb (avoiding a motorbike) and now I need a new tyre and quite possibly new rim (although I hope not) - might as well use this as an excuse to finally get a second set of rims to make changing to winter tyres easier ...
Yes, they're TUV approved and meet the axle load requirements of the FF. They're OZ Racing Zeus.

They look nice, not dissimilar to F12TDF/812 wheels.
What sizes/offsets did you go for?
Spot on - AppTech who make the TdF wheels wouldn’t provide the wheel load limits so I found something similar. The bonus is that they’re a 20/21 stagger which looks great. What sizes/offsets did you go for?
The full story including sizes and offsets is Here

Nice, I read the whole thread. I like those a lot and I'm not a fan of aftermarket wheels generally. They look right. The full story including sizes and offsets is Here

Thank you both for the positive comments on the wheels. If you need any additional info which isn't in the aforementioned FChat thread then feel free to DM.Gassing Station | Ferrari V12 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
