I just can’t bring myself to do it. I can’t think of a single logical reason to do it at 400k when I know I’d enjoy 150k F12 just as much.

Seems odd to rule yourself out at this stage, we don't know how much it'll cost, whether it'll be pure NAV12 or hybrid or anything at this stage. It might even be fugly

I’m northern. There is a limit to what my man maths can justify before I can’t even pretend to justify to myself, let alone my wife with a straight face. Besides, the F12 cost me a Kubota for the wife, a 167 would probably cost me Clarksons Lambo!

I’ll rule myself out as have heard it’s going to be n/a and have a similar output to the Competitione. Similar to comment above, don’t think it’s going to be worth close to twice the price of my 812 for almost the same performance. Sure it will tremendous though and congrats to any buyers.

Kubota’s are fine machines. Your wife has great taste biggrin

I placed my £10k expression of interest yesterday. My dealer said that you have to be a current 812 owner to be eligible for the car (I have a GTS). He said the car was going to be a big leap technically and very limited numbers and last na V12 (I know I know!)

LOL.. Ferrari is run by shareholders now, dealers know nothing.. They will produce Coupe FHT and will still be on 2030 production line.. VS to come as well.. rinse & repeat and shift what is slow selling atm..

To be fair, I am hearing about this "new" policy of theirs about owning the "prior" car to qualify for the new/special version.

For example, was told 296VS will require 296 ownership. I've heard the same about the V12s, so F167 will require a V12 car in your garage. Dunno if it's true or not though!

Not disagreeing what he said the dealers are saying, but it’s not ‘new’, been happening since 458 Speciale days, they will say buy 812 now because they are not selling, go talk to Romans about not selling 812’s, then talk to the Romans Buyer and ask what number they will bid to buy one in, which they don’t want other than SOR. Same with 296 VS, got to have a 296 Coupe and/or 296 GTS to have a chance of VS allocation. I have personal experience of this, to receive my SF90 XX had to have had a SF90 AF before, luckily as I’m a good long term customer they didn’t make me buy a SF90 Spider as well. Ferrari know the game, SF90 296 812 are not selling on the 2nd hand UK market, so you want the VS, got to have one of these is the message. I actually think F12 & 812 market will hold and spike up when in April you find out the F167 price! 812 GTS prices however, need to have a £75k haircut, built a ton of those, when again Ferrari Dealers sold it on limited production time and 1st Convertible V12 for 50 yrs.. shareholders run Ferrari and shareholders demand increasing profits… should add to defend dealers a bit, Ferrari will choke off allocations in 1st year so that Dealers really are saying there is a lot more demand than supply and then starts the overs market and buy this to get one. Client feels lucky, but any client for F167 who is turned down now just has to wait in line for 2/3 years and their allocation will arrive. It will be worth the wait, great looking car albeit not enough analogue..

I've fallen for that twice now, soon to be three times...

Just bumping this thread as the launch is now confirmed at the Miami Grand Prix in May.
My guess is the car will be around £330k base.
Anybody got any further information ?

My German Dealer said “expect 450,000€ base… expect that to mean in UK terms, a lightly spec one at £425k and higher spec £450k plus 6 months of overs!!

Don’t believe anybody really knows pricing yet.
Have heard from two different dealers to expect inflation linking over the 812+ £25k. Think that would put it at c£350k base.
Ferrari actually have a history of not increasing their car prices (much) when a new model comes out. I.e the 488 launched at basically the same price the 458 run ended at. Find out soon enough, but agree we’ll not see anything south of £400k for a decent spec (after all my 2019 SF was £350k).

Just spoke to my UK DP, said £380 base but they don’t know what standard spec includes. Seeing now you have to pay for standard paint I would imagine not much!
True Gary about price increase but that was before Ferrari went public, 488 pricing was already set, Ferrari is run by shareholders now and is valued at Luxury Item Valuation. They would like entry to Ferrari to start at $500k base..anybody in the back catalogue we should enjoy more..

I've heard it'll be super expensive and as you suggest, knocking on the door of £500k for a top spec one
