Seems like this a "real" CS that's been converted to manual rather than a 360 that's been made into a manual CS.

Impressive!

Picking my car back from service at Dick Lovett. Can't wait. Havent had a decent long drive for a while.
They were going to deliver it back next week but the weather looks good so I will take the train up and drive it back the long way to London via Oxford.
Anyone know the A420 and if it is a nice drive. Alternative can be the A419.

Similar (Cornes and strangely the exact same aftermarket stereo) to one we are chatting about above, could be the same or not!!!

Aren't cheap for nothing!!

Mileage doesn't tally with smashed one.

18kkm = 11kmiles
Too many coincidences...but you are right can/may always be another one
Jap cars in general very hard to trace...just beware when doing the due diligence

Japanese car, 18,478km in February 2015.

Auto store car 18,150km in March 2016

Unless it's been wound back, the mileage doesn't tally.

That sounds like a good option and a much longer non motorway route. Many thanks smile

miss communication here Alpine...i was NOT referring to the Autostore car (which looks good), BUT the cheapest one around at £144k, i.e. "the good buy" mentioned on top of page 61

Check the www.challengestradale.com/135492.html : exact same interior (and aftermarket radio), same colors inside/out, calipers...and mileage

This Bianco Avus CS is for sale by Tom Hartley (originally supplied in Japan). The blue-black interior looks great with the white exterior. This is the only car I know with this blue interior, really unique!

Mileage 20000 km. Asking price £164950.

Had a drive down from Dick Lovett via B4192
Nice road but then th A4 and M4 were full of traffic but it was nice while it lasted
More disappointing though is that the car has lost its bark. Race with ASR off is nearly the same as race off. I can feel the shifts are faster but the sound is muted and only opens up well after 6k revs. I was toggling gears at constant speed with race on and off and saw no difference
Not sure what happened but it probably needs to go back to be looked at
Was thinking of a track day on Thursday but that idea probably needs to be canned frown
Anyone had similar issues ?

I've experienced this. It was intermittent and cleared itself. Sticky valves??

Another thing I noticed, as I had my exhaust tips changed and therefore were clean and shiny at the start, is that on both sides, the inner of the two exhaust outlets had a lot of carbon deposits, while the outside ones were clean as a whistle. I could also smell fuel when I was pushing, Anyone with more technical knowledge than me may be able to chip in with ideas. I suspect that the inside exhausts are the ones being used before the full exhaust is opened in race and higher revs and the soot deposits only on the inside is a result of the valves not opening and all gases going through just that pipe.

Yes, mine's doing it at the moment. I'll speak to Ferrari ASAP to find out the cause.

Let me know if you find out anything. I am in the process of sorting dates to take it back in so they can have a look. I will also report back.
I am not sure about "sticky" valves in my case, as I had a brand new one fitted a couple of years ago as there was a slight rattle.
