Doing a general reset ahead of a big drive.

What are the optimal operating temperatures for oil and water that you guys see?

My car’s coolant runs very cool, even on warm days, unless stuck in traffic.
I pay more attention to the oil temperature gauge. This sits at the first mark up the scale when up to temperature. Out yesterday and it took 20 miles and about 35 mins to reach this temp, however it was about 10 degrees outside, it’s obviously much quicker to warm up in warm weather. The car isn’t driven over 3000rpm until up to temperature; the book recommends a limit of 4000rpm. It usually sits idling for 5-10mins before setting off just to get some heat in the system.
Hope this helps.

I mean, IDGAF, but that ad is a hilarious "F you" to the GDPR rules and regs.

Not only but I think the story does have some other curious statements. How can you forget convincing Ferrari to build you an extra car CS and then forgetting you have a CS? Somehow that seems odd.

That was good to watch. Thanks for posting!
Many good arguments for each and I agree with most but if I had 3 keys in-front of me and a good twisty road ahead, I would pick the CS key every time.
