it is, the 308 looks so much better close up than in photos, the colour of the rosso metallic just pings out at you, I took a friend along who is a car guy and he loved the colour as well but seems most people don't like it.
Its top top money for a 308 and it has rust bubbles in about 6 places, door bottom/rear lower panel/front quarter panel but they are repairing it with photographic evidence its done correctly and not just a skim of filler.Beautiful interior and perfect seating position which I was surprised at as I was told anyone 6ft and over would find it uncomfortable.
Lovely looking car and the colour I really like.

I think they all come with a little rust! I've had some work done on mine and it's due some more on the bottom of the doors, maybe a winter project?

I'm 6'2 and have never had a problem with the seating position. I drove over 200 miles on the first day I got mine and the only ache I had was in my ankle. Size 11's are a bit tight in the footwell.

Post some pics when you get it.

I picked up My 348 TS on Saturday from TFC and during My visit I was shown your car (mainly because they knew I really love the 308/328 GTS' and we'd been talking about how the prices had risen in recent months [To be honest, I was chatting about Ferrari values so much they ended up closing an hour later than normal for a Saturday but were more than happy to stay and chat! smile ] ).

I was quite surprised to find that I really liked the colour - It looked different and stunning at the same time!

I thought the price was "strong" money for a 308 GTS, but to be fair, that is the way they are going in general.

As for the seating position, as I understand it, the 308/328 GTB/GTS actually has quite a deep foot-well and so leg wise, is slightly more comfortable for taller drivers than other models such as the 348/355 series. Drivers up to 6'2" should fit quite well in a 308/328 (the roof might feel a little close but it should be okay).

Over 6'2", it really depends on your build. If you're all legs and little body then it's not necessarily a major issue. If your height is mainly in the body section though then it can be a problem.

Hope you really enjoy the car - it is a beauty! smile
