Which Ferrari?
Discussion
Nick Cartwrights and Walkersport to name 2 with very high standards.
Plenty more in the area that I'm sure those that have dealt with will advise.
Good luck with your search. Any ferrari is a great car. Speed is not necessarily the top thing , but the occasion feel and handling are great .

I had a Mondial T coupe in blu medio for about 2 years. I had a 5 and 7 year old at the time and the family all fitted. I had M3's and westfields before so dynamically it was not as good, but that said it was always a surprise just how quick and sure footed it was. Of course the best bit was the Larini enhanced noise and the fact that it was an 80's/90's Ferrari and whilst not the best looking car did have some kerb appeal.
It was not the money pit I feared, but it did take some looking after. In short I really enjoyed the car but once the kids grew up a bit we no longer needed a 4 seater so I sold it. I would say it pays to look around and find the best car though.

WIth a 40k budget I fear the ship has sailed on decent 308/328/355/360 with the 348 & 308GT4 climbing pretty quickly. It may leave the Mondial and 456 (both of which I'd be proud to put in our garage). 612 for 40ish grand? I haven't seen that.
As suggested above, the Walkersport Mondial may scratch that Ferrari itch quite nicely for not too much of an investment. It'd leave plenty of reassuring 'just in case' money too

If I had the funds I would buy this car. Ive caught the 400 bug and just can't shake it. They are really coming into their own. Big Ferrari v12. Very handsome motor. Plus you will have change for a lifetime's supply of Cuban cigars.
