There's also the 355 Challenge - wasn't there a road version of that with a wing and other mods just before Ferrari realised there was a real market for this type of car?

The set I suggested were all non manual but I hadn't considered the others suggested as I was sure Ferrari claimed the Stradale as a first in some way? What is it thats different about the other specials before it apart from the gear shift?

To me, open to debate I guess, I see the 348 GTC and 355 Challenge as track/race cars that made their way to the road. On the otherhand, the 360 CS, the 430 Scuderia, the 16M, the 458 Speciale and the 458 Speciale Aperta were all road cars made for the track.
Again, open to debate but I think I am correct:
348 GTC - is the race car for the 348 model
355 Challenge - is the race car for the 355 model
360 Challenge Stradale - the race cars for this model are the 360 Challenge, the 360 GT, and the 360 GTC
430 Scuderia - the race cars for this model are the F430 Challenge, F430 GT2, F430 GT3 and then the 430 versions
458 Seciale - the race cars for this model are the 458 Challenge, the 458 Can-Am, the 458 GT2, and the 458 GT3
Therefore the 360 Challenge Stradale and following are a different type of car as such. The 16M and 458 Speciale Aperta are new models in this regard, with no contemporaries to compare with.
There is another geeky angle that can be brought up, but I really don't know enough to say. Historically Ferrari racing cars were built on even-numbered chassis and the road cars were built on odd-numbered chassis. This stopped at some point when the 11-digit VIN was brought in but Ferrari racing cars have continued to be built, in sequence, on even-numbered chassis. I know, for example, that F430 Challenge and F430 GT3 cars are built on road car chassis, converted for the road, whereas the F430 GT2 are sequentially built racecars on even-numbered chassis. I don't know what the case is for the 348 and 355 Challenge but I would be interested to know.
Anyway, perhaps I have gone off-topic! I personally don't know or know of anyone with the whole set. I think it would be an awesome collection, especially as people are often preoccupied with the 'hyercars'.

This bloke has the first three and my guess is that he's got the last Speciale on order! Together with about thirty other yellow Ferrari's!
