I recently decided to buy another 308 instead of heading into more modern territory. To understand why, watch this. It mirrors my thoughts exactly & is well put together:

Nice film. This is what I love about older cars. They have soul, rather than just impressive numbers like their modern counterparts.

This is a lovely film too ...

Ok, I thought you meant you were looking for one. I'm considering selling mine, up until I drive it that is!

If you'd have stuck it on here I'd have taken a look. Very very happy with what I picked up, though smile

They do look nice in black. I was very tempted when looking for mine.

If I hadn't been distracted by old wive's tales about Ferraris needing to be red, my first 308 would also have been black. That said, colours other than red are pretty rare beasts. I'm surprised you even came across one.

The BB is the 308s big brother & this proper beast in black is looking quite a handful in the same presenter's hands:

I nipped in to have a word with my local paint man this morning about doing some work on my Mini and he has a very early fibreglass body RHD manual 308 GTB in for some fettling, it fair took my breath away. Startlingly pretty in yellow too!

Great video. I love the BB, it's on my lottery win wish list.

I only saw a couple of black 308's. One I think went to Australia and the other was immaculate but had no history at all.

Coming into the Control. They arrived exactly on time. You can see the timing point at the side.
There was a beautiful Chateau to the left.
