California t - replacement any time soon ?

Heard a suggestion that this may be as soon as next year, 2018. Anyone heard same suggestion ?

Current lifecycle for production models is 6 years. No reason to believe this would change at the moment given the Cali T's importance and position in the range.

Which given a global launch for the T of early 2014 means Uk cars would probably not arrive til Christmas 2020

There might be a chance of it coming a year forward depending on if a smaller V6 car is forthcoming

And based on Marchionne's November 2016 announcement hybrid is a distinct possibility

Agreed, although it is also worth noting the 2008/9 California's platform is the basis for not only the Cali T but also the FF/Lusso, F12 and forthcoming F12M so if this platform sharing continues into the next generation of cars it may require the full development term.

One things for sure, whether you're a fan or not, given the impact the California has had on the brand and the new market area/customers it has brought, whatever does eventually replace it will have a lot to live up to!
