I've only seen white, Black, orange and yellow and the limited Edizione Tecnica in Red.

Not sure of numbers registered in the UK but can't be many. Currently only 6 for sale ranging from £130 to £155k for what was a £200k list car.

Fantastic FUN car if you can bag one, come spring supply will be gone as McLaren and Ferrari spiders are £180 and £200k respectively

Its the best Gallardo ever built and in limited numbers so looks like a good proposition to me, but then again I might be slightly biased now

Having driven a whole host of cars it was my car of choice in the up to £160k price range for a FUN 4th car for sunny sunday mornings

Have you bought one yet ? They are epic cars unlike anything else out there at the moment.

Bought mine in preference to a 458 and McLaren and paid more for it as well.
I had only gone to look at the other 2 but was swept off my feet by the Lambo. It was in a showroom full of car exotica and stood out a mile as being very special.

Driving it and especially hearing it just confirmed its a WOW supercar.

As they are very limited I would suggest that the 4 or 5 on the market now are 1-2 season car users who will move onto the latest new toy and that come spring the supply will dry up or if not the price will GO UP.

Dealer said to me he would buy it back in March for the same money if I didn't like it but that was never going to be an issue once you have heard the downchanges

My advice is get it bought before they disappear to enthusiasts like myself cus they won't be seen on the market again. IMHO opinion being a ferrari man its better and cheaper than the 16M and they are £180k

Congrats well done. Was it the one at Sevenoaks by any chance ?

I've only driven mine home from the dealership 150 miles and once round the block at home the following day.

Devon & Cornwall police stopped me for no front number plate 500 yards from home on Day 2 so now waiting to get my private plate transferred and a smaller number plate made to fit in the gap 330mm x 89mm with 64 mm street legal font for imported vehicles which weren't designed for front number plates.

Fortunately I wound down the tinted windows so they didn't spot them as yet.

Just hope I've drilled the holes in the right place in the bumper for the bracket and I don't get any hassle from plod over the smaller plate

You would of thought they had better things to do but down here they will be itching to get a story on the front page of the local paper

Make sure you still have the British Standards mark (got pulled for a check on this with my small plate as above).
So looking at the front of the Performante, where does the plate go?

I love the Performante (in all it's versions), always loved the looks, but no way is it 'better' than the 16M (IMHO) wink
But then I consider the 16M to be superior to the 458 Spider and 12C Spider so what do I know!

Congrats. Seems like Performante's are selling like a hot cakes - they are stunning cars! Will they see much action over the winter or is it a case of spring fever!

I have a shorter 5 character private plate so I can squeeze it in the middle triangleangular bit under the point of the nose. Had to drill holes underneath the bumper to attach a small bracket and its just wide enough to accomodate the smaller plate which I'm waiting for through the post.

I'm not sure if the plate will be tecnically leagal with Kite marks, postcodes etc as had to order it off the internet from createmyplate to get the size I wanted. The font and size of font will at least be legal.

Who did you use to get a totally legal small plate from ?

I agree I should of said better for me. Having a F430 spider upgrading to a scuderia or a 16M seemed like an awful lot of money to get into a car which in all intents and purposes to the general public is the same so it wasn't something I was going to do hence considering the Mac and 458.

If the 16M is better than the 458 spider then it really is a fantastic car. Personally coming from a F430 spider I would of gone 458 spider if I could afford the £200k+ for the spec I was after.

As such the Lamborghini was a better proposition for me and a change from Ferraris.
The looks and sound are superb and the 4x4 surefootedness probably gives me a little more confidence as well.

Are you of the opinion like me that the new stuff is just too good and fast nowadays that the fun is being sucked from them at useable road speeds ?

F car dealer made them, full dealer stamp, British standards kite marks etc. I assume Lambo dealer will do likewise?

Really ? Probably seems tame coming from a Murcielago then, but not as boring as a Mac

Looks just like mine and I was blown away by it in comparison to the 458 and McLaren 12C.

In fact I thought it was so much more FUN in comparison I paid more for it than the other 2. Ok the gearbox isn't the latest dual clutch system but TBH I prefer the sense of changing gear and the newer systems are just too smooth and refined.

Maybe as I only have it as a 4th car for sunny sunday morning driving the fact that its just a riot doesn't matter. IMHO it can't be beaten for looks or sound and I'm not Sebastien Vettel and worried about the last 1000th of a second laptime
Admittedly for a daily drive I think I would take a 458 over it, just.

I think it's maybe because I have had two Gallardo's over the past few years, and have got bored with them. I think I was expecting a new interior or something. The exhaust does sound very nice, and it's very quick and feels a lot more refined than earlier cars. but I would still have the Maclaren over it by a long way.
