Yes guilty my Lord. Finding someone who can park the car properly is probably rarer than the car itself

The strange thing is I always said you just cant buy a red Lambo because its a Ferrari colour but when you physically see it in Performante spec its just so right on the car and even makes the orange and green ones look boring.

Colour is a personal thing and personally I wouldn't buy a white one as I think it will go out of fashion and age badly and there are too many standard white gallardos around. Orange and green ones fit with the whole Lambo image but I'm not sure I could live with it day in and day out

The beauty of Rosso Mars is you won't see another one unless its a Performante Edizione Tecnica and there are only 5 in the country.

No photo comes close to doing it justice and everyone that's seen the car says its amazing ESPECIALLY in RED

Thought so - the plate gave you away wink
Was just leaving the rugby club prior to a 5 hour hike back home when I spotted a red Gallardo pulling up to the park barrier so thought I'd hang around to see it park up. When I saw the black spoiler I realised it was a PET. As you say, the pictures don't do the colour justice. In this afternoon's sun it looked stunning with the lid down thumbup

Oh well, it seems he decided to chop in the car above and has switched to some V12 action.

I know that road. Fordham Heath isn't it. I saw the yellow one there ages ago when I picked up a friends child on his birthday from the school there, in my spyder.

What does he do? Is he on here? Is he a real petrol head? Cars more important than his abode to him? Because, with all due respect, it's not the sort of road you expect the owner of 250K car to live on

Well at least there are 2 of us on here that think it looks good in red, cheers. Thought you must of been a local but obviously not. I'm on the road a lot in the company car so I know a 5 hour drive is not fun. Glad the car brightened up your day

A mate of mine was trying to sell his red one. No interest. Horrible residuals now I bet.

Only 2nd to black Evora's apparently.

And to think mines only worth £3k more than what I paid for it back in October is really gutting.

Oh well a few more sunny days and Easter is coming along so who care how much I have made, I just want to drive and enjoy it.

That's funny because mine was a genuine RETAIL customer order from new and I certainly know of 1 other Retail customer and only 1 supercar hire company vehicle ( who preferred the red Edizione Tecnica for stronger residual value reasons )

Its a vehicle you have to see physically to appreciate because whilst I agree it sounds wrong for a Lambo it certainly looks fantastic.

The fact that there ONLY 5 just makes it even more exclusive which whether you personally like the colour or not is still a good thing

It could be worse I could of ordered my Porsche GT3 in yellow. Just imagine that when its on fire doooooh

I was pulling his leg!

Although my mate did have to torch it in the end for the insurance. Horrible situation.

I think it looks great in red. And if you know the other privately owned car that's all 5 accounted for.

trust me i've seen more than enough of one red car in particular

two questions if i may

why are the cf bits, ie the rear wing, smooth finish ?

why do you so OFTEN do one word in capitals ? it spooks me biggrin
